Pay dues at the school store (Account #379) and bring receipt to the meeting.  DO NOT BRING CASH to the meeting...just the receipt.

Demonstrate awareness of safety procedures
Follow school code and demonstrate upstanding character and appropriate behavior at all meetings, rehearsals and events associated with the company
Promote the company to the school and community
Maintain academic eligibility
Attend rehearsals, field trips, master classes, and participate in performances

Participation in fall and spring productions of Kinetic Art
Kinetic Art is the annual dance concert performed by the company and the Dance class.

Rehearsals
Rehearsals are mandatory and necessary to ensure adequate preparation for a successful performance. By the time we start teaching choreography there will be just over two months before the fall concert. When you miss rehearsal, you fall behind and it is not fair to everyone else.

Choreography
Student choreographers must have the first half of their choreography completed by Tuesday, October 1 at which time they will audition their choreography to be included in the fall concert. You must also have your rehearsal schedule to give me at the audition. You will need to assign one dancer in your number to be your choreography assistant. This person will run your rehearsal in the case of your absence. This means you must always communicate with your assistant to make sure one of you are present if the other has an emergency. All choreography must be COMPLETELY taught by November 15!!!!!! All group numbers must be a minimum of four (4) minutes long.

Solos
Only members who have extensive dance training will be permitted to perform solos. Perspective soloists must also audition at least the first half of their solos on Tuesday, October 2. Solos must be a minimum of 2 minutes long.

Final decisions on numbers to be included in the production will be made by Friday October 4. All numbers permitted at this point are etched in stone and cannot be withdrawn from the program.

Final decisions on dancers in each number will be announced at the October 2 club meeting. Attendance at this meeting is mandatory. Rehearsal schedules will also be distributed. Rehearsals will begin on October 7.
